Cycle Ranch!

This was my first moto/trails race. I rode on saturday in the Women's A class. It was super sandy in the trails with a few hills that had large rocks. For some reason I was just not feeling the race on saturday. I finished 4th out of 5th as I was fighting the bike in the sand the whole way.  I woke up Sunday not feeling too sore and watched practice. The sand was even more rutted out, but almost in a good way b/c now there was a grove to ride. I talked to Tina Roberts and she convinced me to race with her. We had a great turnout for the women's open on sunday-7 girls raced! We did a full moto start. I started in 2nd gear since my bike taps out real quick in first and straight pinned it and never let off. I finished 3rd that day and did the same amount of laps but 4 min faster. Del Valle

I rode moto at Del Valle today. Was pretty fun. Worked on corners, wheelies, and starts for my upcoming race at Cycle Ranch next weekend. Kristen came out after being off the bike for 10 months. She was riding her new KTM 144 great! Way to go KP!
2nd rear flat at del valle 2 weekends in a row. hmmmm.
